They Hear You” to encourage parents and caregivers to talk to the children in their lives about the dangers of drug use. Parents Against Vaping E-Cigarettes is a grassroots organization developed by parents in an effort to provide the most accurate and current information about the effects of vaping and other flavored tobacco products on the brain and body.

Operation Parent, based in Kentucky, equips parents and caregivers with tools to discuss issues like mental health and substance use with their children. Their handbooks are available for elementary and middle/high school families, including Spanish and Christian-focused editions. They also offer a webinar library to support raising resilient children.
Substance Misuse Resource Toolkit: A Prevention Resource for Communities
The Substance Misuse Resource Toolkit provides information on various drugs, their health effects, and substance misuse and addiction. The toolkit also includes information for different resources in Bullitt, Henery, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble Counties.
Partnership to End Addiction provides extensive information on various drugs and how parents, professionals, and communities can help prevent and address substance use in youth and young adults.
Prevention Technology Transfer Center
The Prevention Technology Transfer Center is a central hub for resources, education, and technical assistance on prevention science and implementing evidence-based policies and programs.
Better Without It is a campaign that aims to provide relatable and empowering ways to encourage youth to be their best selves. Through short videos, easily digestible infographics, and other messaging campaigns, Better Without It encourages youth to develop healthy skills to channel their energy into and to connect to others who have been impacted by drugs and alcohol.
UNSHAME Kentucky is a statewide campaign working to reduce stigma around opioid use disorder by sharing personal stories that highlight addiction can affect anyone. The goal is to foster empathy, reduce judgment, and ensure no one suffers alone.
